NPL 2025

The most annoying part is at the end of the season when clubs don't want to re schedule games *cough* Cannons *cough*
eh, its just short man syndrome .. They certainly dont make it easy to have any good will towards them... they just play into that "nobody likes us and we don't care" mentality.... Can't wait till 2026 to finally see the back of them.

The best part is it isn't ohhh rival hate

It's just you're annoying go away hate lol

On loan? interesting.

How many times has a 'loan' move from A-Liga to NPL happened??
i expect more when the NSD starts.

Have the Bergers expressed an interest in the NSD? surprised if they didnt.

it is what it is mate.... some clubs do Friday nights, others Monday.... Saturdays are a bit hard for parents on players in junior land... Sunday arvos are blessed for me... but other have other preferences....

Scheduling in either league is a joke sometimes but agree 5pm on Wednesday for a senior match is dogshit.
See a league and npl fans aren't that different mate.

It's the suits I doubt they even watch the games fucking pencil sharpening pricks they are. 5:00 pm on a Wednesday give me a spell

mate look forward to your NSW tips.....
Without drilling through player recruitments by club with a fine tooth comb I'm going purely based on some logic/glance of squads and passion which is always wrong hahaha

APIA - Rockdale I feel will still be very strong and punching but back to back prems ? hard.
SU - I'd say will get back on their feet alot of promising changes the refresh should have them alot better than last season.
Stallions - some changes but should carry on from last season.
BC - may present more surprise's and go better.
SO - alot of newbies, may click and surprise.
Manly - time to see this club back up in the mix for me.

Relo
SFC
CCM
WSW
CCM may start slow but 2 of the keepers and 4 others have been in ALM squads this season. I expect them to kick in the second half of the NPL season when Eames, De Lima, Scicluna, Warshawsky, Pavlesic and Brandtman are available each week after the ALM season.

pj - normally the APL sides koff the season better than the NPL clubs - SFC/WSW normally top half of the ladder then they go backwards through the 2nd round so we shall see I suppose.
Its a very different season for APIA/SU/Marconi/SO will be considering the Championship to start later as well so they may have a better chance finshing higher - we will be watching.

CCM - because of their youth policy tend to go the other way. Their NPL sides are traditionally younger than the SFC and WSW sides (more of an U20 side) and tend to be beaten earlier on by the normal NPL sides. As they mature they come better in the second half of the season and start accumulating points. Pavlesic and Brandtman at 22 and 21 are the only ones over 20. Of the players that I know of the average age is a tad over 18.

You are right though - as some of the clubs strengthen for the upcoming Championship the ALM academies will find it more challenging this year.

forgot to add Wolves in the official Championship clubs as well - so thats 5 that all will be bolstering their squads come open window time as well so its going to be interesting.
look pj don't get me wrong I keep an eye on your crowd, my son has played against them a bit at Pluim over the years as well.
Pretty obvious they run a great Jnr system and yes their handicap is boys vs and mix of men/boys and the huge experience many traditional clubs have.
If I had to stomach any APL club doing ok is yours but not the other 2 thats for sure.
