NPL 2025

Whats with the Australian Mentality, "let's move the venue" "let's play the game behind closed doors" cause there might be trouble.

FFS can't organise proper security measures for a few hundred people.

I heard initially heidelberg v preston was going to be moved to a Sunday day game.

If its going to be behind closed doors it may as well remain at heidelberg.

If they are allowing a crowd, the home of matildas makes even less sense. One entry point and much smaller capacity.

Anything Heidelberg pays in security costs would easily by covered by the huge crowd. Put Preston fans on the far side of the ground and access via the Northland entry, whilst heidelberg keeps the main entry and the grandstand, its not rocket science.

Terrible look here.

How are Preston gonna cope in the championship on the national level if they can’t even organise security at NPL level 😉

For a quick breakdown of events

Did plfc ask to move the game - No

Heidelberg have requested the game to be

- behind closed doors
- move kick off times etc

Due to them not being able to organise security blah blah.

Our response was we do it every week and we did it against south and it was fine.

Grow a set

They they went crying to the fv who told them you either play the game with fans at the village or hotm.

Ironically it's closer for more us to get to bundoora anyway.

Poor look from them even if they haven't announced they are going to be a potential NST team

Pussies

If Heidelberg are concerned about those horda dropkicks i do sympathise to an extent. Some of those clowns rocked up to the cup tie between South and Preston last year and not surprisingly misbehaved. South didnt get any scrutiny for the thrown flares because these idiots are easily identifiable.

Which brings me to this Monday night, i hope they dont rock up, everyones tired of this shit.

That cup night i honestly can't state how awesome it was to see south fans turn around and basically tell them to gtfo.

Also we knew who it was within 2 seconds anyway

I honestly pray Monday night goes off without a hitch for you guys🙏

I can accept a redemption arc but to my knowledge he has never genuinely apologised for his past indiscretions.

It baffles me how he has constantly been able to land gigs.
Take it you haven't seen the woe is me I'm just misunderstood documentary that he made about himself alongside heidelberg lol

Also I'd say since they have a connection to a certain mv group through former coaching staff on their womens won't help.

That group also rocked up when they played city in the cup a few years when katsouranis came down and a couple years ago when our women's team played them in a cup game
Call it the pessimist in me, but i have a sneaky suspicion that if anything is to happen this season it will be associated with the franchise mob!!
