NPL 2025

Had a feeling it would be our first loss

Losing brooks and albano early hurt

The red was just the nail in the coffin

The injuries certainly didnt help, and it looks like you cant get Markovski right or Zander guy either who hasnt played yet.

Avondale are a cut above everyone, only team that can challenge them from a pure football sense would be Heidelberg. I know its a bit different because Avondale dont have as much pressure as the teams that have supporters but the football is top class, if we dished that up a lot more ppl would be coming to games.

Big one next week Preston v Oakleigh.

I think katebian could've possibly got a second yellow before lauton got the red but hey that's footy.

Agreed on the bergers and avondale assessment. Will watch that game if I can should be a cracker.

Yeah going to be hopefully the d**heads from both sides stay away

who died?
A nightclub in kocani caught on fire

So far 59 people have died many more still hospitalised.

Among the deceased is the lead singer of the group performing he managed to leave the club but returned to try save others and tragically passed.

Also a footballer who did the same sadly suffered the same fate.

I'm sure there were many others who's stories cannot be told

An incredibly tragic situation all around.

Yeah I just read.... shit man thats bad. nightclub licensing laws in the Balkans are just a joke sometimes and nobody bats an eylid until the unimaginable happens.. Now parents, friends and family are left to pick up the pieces...

Sincerest condolences from your southern neighbours.... thats just too sad.

Unfortunately as normal with the balkans it will probably get swept under the rug. Though with western media picking it up i hope it adds more external pressure to the govt.

I only hope the people can turn out and attempt to fight corruption as they have in Athens and Belgrade.

Tragic for sure!! Add a warranted shout out to those in Greece (and Bulgaria) for housing numerous victims immediately. Northern Greece's and the balkans leading burns hospital specialists spent most of the night in surgery, on the most critical cases that were fast tracked there!!!

Poltics doesnt always have to stand in the way of acknowledging certain warranted thank you's!
