NPL 2025

Great win 4-0 by Oakleigh. Lucky the Preston fans weren't allowed in, might of turned ugly. Anyways job done, now we can move on from this saga.
 
Disgraceful performance. We are lucky we picked up points early in the season otherwise we could've been in trouble these last 3 weeks

You're playing the teams down by the bottom next few weeks, at this time of year those games are difficult. Dont think you make finals if you cant beat Port Melb next week.

I think Acevski should be under pressure, if he got promoted back up with mostly last years team it would be different but the club has been very generous with what they've given him in terms of transfers and wage increases.

I'd be surprised if we even fill out the grandstand on Sunday against Port.

if we lose to them then I'd say the seasons over. Lucky for us altona beat Gully and dandy drew and you guys beat hume

Not at all, Preston just played us into form. We're a very good team, we don't stay down for long. Who knows, maybe they had a chip on their shoulder and something to prove to shut all the Preston and South Melbourne haters online.

Mate lets be honest, you tried to be cute by thinking you could relegate us but ultimately you threw away 2 games for nothing.

Why would my club sacrifice potentially finishing top 4, just to potentially relegate south?

Like i really don't understand this mindset, I'd say okay fair enough i can kind of believe it, if it was right at the end of the season with dead rubber games remaining, but why on earth would we throw away all our work this season, just for your club? Like why your club specifically?

I know you and your fellow south supporters want this to be true, but we genuinely got beat by the better team on the day, it's just as simple as that.

There's always conspiracy theories coming from South in regards to us. You all think we lie about the age of underage goal keepers, we pay the refs, we acquire players illegally last minute, were in bed with the board, we shut down entry to our games to give us a tactical advantage and now apparently we lose games on purpose just to hurt south Melbourne. How does none of this sound insane to any of you? Not even Collingwood fans are this delusional....

If your conspiracy theory turns out to be true, then shut the club down permanently, because throwing away games like that is a massive slap in the face to the players, coaches and fans who put in all that work to get to where we are now.
