NPL 2025

Mounties have more money than God so it seems weird that for a long time they paid players over the odds but never mounted any serious challenge in any NPL division they competed in.

If Brunswick city (currently 5th) beat Northcote and Moreland (they should) then 41 points surely is enough for top 6.
They (Brunswick) havent been convincing enough for me Im looking at teams in form for the run in and you have to say apart from the top 4 which I feel will be City, Georges, Bentleigh & Western cant see any other teams getting into the 4 that leaves 5th and 6th spot for a bunch of teams:
Sunshine are on a good run and hard to beat I think they will get 5th
Serbia same good run and hard to beat between them and Brunswick for 6th
Brunswick funny team they may sneak in they are a "lose just when you think they shouldnt" kind of team
Bulleen worst season in recent memory lost too many games and look to be rebuilding more than challenging if they make the 6 it will be interesting they still have to play City and last game is home v Serbia (that will be tasty)
Northcote same as Bulleen plus change of coaches all about next season now

in NPL 2 Serbia have taken 13 from their last 15 points. What a season they have had/should stay up.

Northcote city have taken 0 I am pretty sure. After starting the season and pre-season looking good, it's been disastrous.
Yeah Northcote shat the bed this year... :(

A friend of mine's son was playing rugby league for them about the time they were chucking money at players for the football club. He was offered a contract for the Raiders but wasn't that interested as he had a family here and was a concreter so didn't really need the money. He also said that Mountie's gym is probably better than most NRL clubs.

WTF happened to Floreat this year? Usually a pretty strong club no?

so in SL1 :
Dianella and UWA are set for a great run for the title with 5 rounds to go and Unless Gosnells start picking up some points they could be heading down to SL2 , while Inglewood and Kalamunda are fighting for the safety and not being in the relegation play off spot , while 2nd-4th is all to play for in the playoffs with the 11th placed NPL Team

SL2 : Quinns , Cockburn and East Perth are all fighting for the championship , its worth noting East Perth were a sunday league team last year so doing amazingly well this year.

while at the other end its a sad time for Swan United one of the longest serving clubs in the state league are facing the prospect of being relegated out of the state league or having to play in a play off to stay up.

i guess my question is, does the game resume from the leg break, or restart at 0-0?
They only played 20 minutes or so, the game continues from then on.. Lions up 1-0
Yep, that's essentially it.

Each competition generally has their own regulations - I think it's either one half, or two-thirds of the game to be played is the usual consensus.

Also depends on the reason for abandonment - as it's an injury it will be a continuation of the game, not a full replay - especially if it's only 20 mins played.
