Issue at that club is, there seems to be family feud's sparking the division. Sad to see.

Government party politics is G rated compared to football administration politics.

How’s this for some half time entertainment at the Italian derby this Sunday at the Marconi club. Too bad the crowd will probably not be as big as it would have been if there wasn’t such a massive Australia cup clash being played at the same time 5 minutes drive away, and if marconi hadn’t bottled it in the premiership race, plus the potential rain forecast.

But in all seriousness, good on the club, this is an example of the sort of thing which they and other traditional clubs simply wouldn’t have been doing 10-15 years ago when they were well and truly in the wilderness with no hope of a return to any kind of relevance

Sure, its been fun this year having the Lions back in the comp.. but they weren't missed that much in the last decade.. Everyone of the "old glories" has had their period of doing well and getting good crowds, this time around its Preston's turn.

If Knights are out of the league for 5-6 years or more and then FINALLY get to play Hellas at Somers St --- THAT will be a match for the ages......

If Preston can keep it up for a few years and manage to keep their nationalistic minority in check then sure they belong at the big boys table
