Were is the promised legal action if a FULL Home and Away NST doesn't begin in March/April 2025 as contractually signed off on by FA in Feb?

There are calls for an extraordinary general meeting at the club mate... Members are NOT happy....

I love my club and always will, but we have been shafted by the FA and enough is enough!

As I’ve said before football fans are not the most patient people but many ‘ can’t see the wood for the trees’.

we PAID for and prepared for a competition that is NOT happening, only for it to be replaced by one which we needn't have bothered doing ANYTHING about and, based on this years results, would have participated in anyway....... not sure what you dont understand mate?

They state they are "disappointed" in the press release which doesn't translate to "happy" mate.

The whole thing stinks to high heavens.... 2-3 months ago the board was gung ho about getting the desired competition up and running or otherwise following legal recourse...

We will just have to wait and see what pans out over the next few weeks I suppose. The board of any football club (mine included) are just temporary custodians of the club and MUST reflect the desire of ALL the club members or risk being voted out. and Im sure they understand that.

Id have to agree Mono.. despite the obvious deflation for a comp we feel 'we are owed', for lack of a better term, we can only wait for the specifics before reacting.. as you said the "custodians of the club" must be the voice of all members and be held accountable for their actions.. patience is still there currently, as the FA may well enough want a more cemented competition before its launch and if its only another year then so be it, I can live with that, but they must come out and state this openly, the fear now is we get pigeon holed into "a somewhat competition" just to save face and appease the a league rubble.

Not so much the competition we are "owed" but the one that will actually benefit not only the "Old NSL" clubs but ALL ambitious clubs around Australia the most..... although I get your point as we pretty much yelled the loudest for this thing to ever even happen and have done for the past 7 years.... Your right, lets wait to see what happens when the "dust settles" but I was disappointed by the tame club statement Ive gotta say. The tone was alot more reflective of US in August.... This sort of seems like someone is holding a gun to our heads and asking "the hostage" to read from the script and stare into the camera..... lol

Thanks Mono... the "we" was very much inline with your statement, it was meant to incorporate exactly what u elegantly stated "all aspiring clubs" outside the a league... as all those that love the game know, there can be no true growth for our code without it and P/R..

Fully agree regarding the tameness of the statement but i do hope its just our clubs way of trying to be tactful, while biting their tongue for the time being. I wont lie though, i expected more from the other clubs also, and not just always us, but then again I guess the biggest club must be the one that bites back!
 
though the other Clubs need to stand up next to the so called biggest Club :)

It's disappointing they (the 8) are not "all for one and one for all".....
Sure every Clubs circumstances vary (whoah is me re APIA) but I would hope they have been having their own combined separate dialog you'd think, seems not.
 
Doesn't look like Harry is going to get an appearance at Macarthur.... would we be willing to take him back in Jan South fans?

Undoubtedly, Harry will always be welcome!!! Ny only thought is that we get stuck in a single style/setup of play with him in there, whereas without him (managing wise more so) we are forced to adapt to a match when needed rather than frustratingly persist with the one style... Esteban first and foremost will need to show a bit more adatapbility this year in my opinion.....that may just lead to that final elusive trophy that keeps slipping away in npl...not that its served us badly to date, just a "grandstand coaches" thinking outloud.. lol
