4 nil great win guys pmsl
we lost retard, dont the plastics know how to read a scoreline?? Heres a hint, the first score is the home team the second is the away .....

Home team is the team playing at their own ground, each club plays EQUAL amount of matches at home and away .... I know, football is hard to understand huh?

Honestly think the Leigh tyson combo could work for rest of the season but only if we get reinforcements (big if) fact is we're creating way more chances then we did under esteban and playing better football but don't have a striker to finish. Harding tries his best but he's not a striker. Then we have players making dumb turnovers or errors that lead to goals..mells last weak shirked a tackle allowing them to get a run in and score, this week it was Max turning over the ball at half way going down expecting a foul, at an especially keypart of the game where we'd come out and were on top of them the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half.

Leigh and tyson have done a good job getting the boys back to a simple basic system but we know how dire the squad depth is.
All I can add is that, had we started the season in this fashion, we may not be in the position we are in now.... 9 points in half a season, with essentially the same squad is baffling....

Avondale, without Brice, were a leaky sieve at the back, yes we got in behind and had a few near chances but need Bonada or someone like Leech to niggle and scrap the goals in (Leech MUST be given more minutes) - 3 of the goals we copped were, as you say, from stupid lapses in concentration.... yes we liost, yes the boys are palying with ehads down but there ARE some small green shoots of positivity. I think (without knowing because, well, nobody seems to be honest enough to give a clear answer) we are going to keep the Minops/Tyson coaching combo at least until end of year - apparently they are completing badges and have been given dispensation to coach from Football VIC .... I STILL am not worried about going down because of how crap Knights, Port and Magic seem to be.... but still, the next 4-5 rounds re going to be torture.

Sinisa is a hard task master, plays attacking football and knows alot of players.... great man to have in the trenches for a relegation battle ... Get behind the lads South fans. We are down and hurting.... the squad is thin and disillusioned, they NEED us there every week rain hail or shine.... South Melbourne fights to the end!!!!!

FORZA HELLAS!!!!!!!!!!!

Victory losing keeps them close by, but they scored 2 and missed a penalty. I cant believe we are the only side that cant score.

Ajde Sinisa..... save our season brat.

South Melbourne FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Sinisa Cohadzic as the club’s Senior Head Coach for the remainder of the 2025 NPL Victoria season.
No doubt we all want to see this choice work for us (i cant say i believe its the ideal choice even if temp), and we will support it bc thats what we must do, and hope that he can put things in order quickly bc we sure as hell need it, but it raises some serious questions if this is the best choice after so many weeks, $180k budget and 16 applications, apparently!

We cringed at coaching suggestions who in comparison had waaaay better credentials, and my impression is this appointment has left the majority of supporters a little flat, bemused and at a time when patience is wearing thin.

Tough gig for him, but lets see if he can prove me wrong, and ill be the first to recant my scepticism!

Im pretty sure they were hoping for Leigh/Tyson to win at least 1 game and stick with them.

Whats clear is that they were clearly unprepared for a post Esteban world, his time was pretty much up as far back as the Dandenong Thunder, no doubt a parting of ways back then would have made the job more attractive.

Ultimately nobody of note wanted it, nobody wants to be the coach that relegates South. For Sinisa its a free hit, lets be honest no club would go near him for a senior position. In fact he has never coached a senior mens team. His senior experience is limited to the womens league.

Good luck to him, he is going to need it, part of me thinks if we get smashed tonight in the cup and again on Sunday that the club will backtrack from its stance of keeping him for the season, the more the losses pile up the more erratic the club will get. Wouldnt surprise me if we see new faces in the dugout every few weeks. It is a disgracefully run football club.

Im sceptic as well.. Spoke to a cousin who has a son playing juniors who spoke VERY highly of SInisa's tactical nous .... I agree, far from ideal choice, but sometimes a fresh approach mighyt be best, he knows most of the youngsters and has been around the club for a long time....?
