Andy and Marshall are back for Victory game (from the horses mouth).... not sure if they will bother bringing them on for Cup tie against a weak Pako... Archibald is ages away and Mikkola looked really dejected could be out for a while....

Nah, most of the trouble makers will probably get arrested the night before and the remaining 50 or so that go to HOM for their home games arent going to travel for an away match.
 
Great gutsy win by the lads on Friday... Im glad I ended up going in the end, wins are going to be few and far between this season :)

First 15-20 mins where great pressing football and Pope's goals where superbly taken :) . Sadly a rush of blood to that magnificent flaming ginger head meant a justified red card... an hour of two lines of 4 defending behind the ball and Lucas Inglese-Sawyer (nickname courtesy of smfcmike) running his lungs out saw us comfortably hold the win against a very very toothless Knights...

First time in months Ive gone to match, gone home watched the replay, gone to sleep and woken up STILL with a grin on my face... Any time we do the double against Croatia is a good result.... I feel sad for their players though that their fans spend more time abusing us and our club and ethnicity than supporting their own team.... Eh, well some things never change I suppose.

Anyway, great to see some smiles and some passion from our lot, first time I have bear hugged every single player on the pitch after a match.. you could tell it meant alot to them that we are still behind them... very glad I got guilt-ed into going... FORZA HELLAS

Who knows, I thought it was pretty tame compared to the past... I mean "shove you farckin Hellas up your arse"" is pretty tame compared to when the usually tell us they'd "rather fark an Abo than a Greek"

I heard all the booing and screaming towards our players as I was walking out but thats to be expected, we did pull their pants down with 10 juniors at their home ground .... nothing to see here from me.....

That wasn't the chant. It was "Rather be a Maco than a Greek" If you get offended by that there is no hope for you hahaha. And the hellas chant is obviously about the team

Yeah typical South Melbourne sook, that's the South culture these days.

If knights had won, they'd probably jump up and down and throw out their typical conspiracy theories like knights paid off the refs, the fans somehow influenced the game which is highly illegal because of such and such delusional south reasons, presidents sleeping with someone that somehow automatically means south lose all the time,.the balls 0.23mm off typical size which is done purposely to throw off souths game, the lines weren't white enough, etc etc.

Don't worry about them haha.
 
Nah seriously this nonsense needs to be stamped out. First Preston with their Turkiye chants directed at us and now that crap on Friday. Now why is this a problem? I'll explain, if South supporters directed derogatory ethnic slurs towards them its a guaranteed brawl and riot. Sure they knoe South fans will laugh it off as we have no appetite for it but for me i dont understand why you wouldnt direct your chants at supporting your own club?

If i stood up in that grandstand and called them catholic serbs not only am i leaving in an ambulance, the game is probably going to get called off.

I'd rather the South culture over that crap any day. The only reason i still support South is because it remains above all a football club. If our supporters behaved like that i'd walk away.
