Yes would be good for knights to get the points or a point.... but this crucial juncture is now in our own hands, with the games vs Dandy city, Altona, Gully, they are the crucial 3 and will 9 points would be a ideal, but i wouldnt complain with 7 either...

The derby vs bergers away (in between) was left out for obvious reasons...

2 more wins would do it, 28 points will likely be more than enough, but even 25/26 could. Our last relegation battle in 2018 it was 26 that got us over the line.

Victory has a brutal run home and Ports isnt much better. Would have been nice if Altona lost to give us a mini gap over another team but realistically we should be finishing above the current bottom 3.

Great win over a top 6 team. The players have finally forgotten the negative and ugly football pushed by Esteban. Watching South now is far more enjoyable. We approach matches with the mindset of playing attacking football and scoring.

Thought the new striker looked good. There were comments made about whether he would sustain the physicality of the NPL, but I think he proved last night that won’t be an issue. He held the ball, dragged players to create space for other South attackers, and looks like he has a good touch. Good to see he scored on debut. That will help him with his confidence. It’s a shame he is cup tied and won’t feature in the Dockerty Cup/Australia Cup matches.

I think the challenge on Mikkola in the second half was worth a red card. That referee last night was so poor. The penalty was soft but I’ve seen worse given. We seriously need to stop giving away so many penalties.

I wasn’t expecting more from Hume as they were sitting fifth on the ladder. They had a few genuine chances in the match.

To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of the news of Sinisa taking over, but I have to give credit where it is due. He’s turned things around, changed the playing style, and has done a great job in getting out us out of the relegation battle. Our destiny lies in our hands.

You’re right. Bottom two looked pretty much gone.

Altona’s win against Gully gives them breathing space.

If we defeat Dandy City away next week, we are very close to avoiding relegation.

Imagine we pull off an upset and beat Heidelberg at Olympic Village.

If the talk is true after Menelaou there is possibly 2 - 3 more..playmaker and defender are thenkey wants.. lets see. Been a quiet window by all so far to be fair. Patience till the 30th i guess.
