Agreed, boring zzz - they are crying out for someone on the broadcast to actually have a strong opinion on something, bloody anything!

Side note - still don't know why they haven't brought back Santo, Sam and Ed. Two of them already on channel 10 regularly on HYBPA, could even be a good exclusive product for Paramount+.

I think the majority wouldn’t be so offended by Foxtel if it’s not owned by Murdoch anymore… especially if the people that shat on the AL 5-6 years ago have all departed.

I think we’re in year 4 of a 5-year AL deal with Paramount Plus? That would suggest the next TV rights deal will be up for negotiation within the next 12-15 months.

Maybe the new Foxtel owners will bid for the AL? I still personally don’t want it to return to Fox sports, but if more parties are interested, it can only increase the value… and the game could do with a funding increase, that’s for sure.

Santo is also involved on 10 as Working Dog produces HYBPA, Thank God You're Here and Cheap Seats.
My guess is either they simply don't want to, don't have time to, or there is simply no budget for it.

10/P+ don't do themselves many favours. Now seemingly killing off football shows over the new year.

And to my shock, the APL have actually done an excellent job with their content. All of their shows on youtube, highlights packages, live streams have hit the target. Let's not forget the stellar promo for the season, now hit 1 million views, double their next most popular video:



It's a real shame that promo doesn't get played weekly, it's just disappeared! This is the single best bit of advertising for the league of the last decade, and they haven't used it anywhere near enough. Instead we got sleep Joe Brosque on channel 10's ad.

I actually think you're right though. DAZN might feel a bit differently towards Australian domestic football than Fox Sports previous owners did.

They haven't spent 3 billion on the joint just to carry on as is. Might be looking at reinstating Fox Sports as the premier broadcaster of football in Australia......

Why is the 10Play stream so blurry? It's HD. I've got this match playing on Youtube as well, in HD, and more "live" than 10Play, and the image is so much better and clearer and smoother! It might not come across in these reduced size jpgs, but compare for yourself.

I hate that ESPN plus got rid of the rights here in the USA but at least some of the games are shown on ESPN 3 and good to have a fire stick also haha.
