[Monoethnic Social Club]

I went on to the reddit and someone claimed they get screen shots of this thread and there are allegedly "unhinged rants" in here.

I mean, there are definitely complaints and venting - I get frustrated with the anti-ethnic attitudes and casual racism that exist there as well as the lack of osaussie knowledge (but otherwise enjoy the subreddit). Did anything on this thread rise to the level of an "unhinged rant"?

Not to mention that fact that, at least in Victoria, if the ethnic clubs all ceased to exist tomorrow (as some of these neanderthals pray for) then the top 3 divisions of football in the state will be contested by 3 Aleague academies and Eastern Lions FC .... ONLY ...... (assuming they dont consider a British club effnikz)?

Haha ay man 'unhinged rants' its the internet... tbh its just a symptom of the net, anyone (including myself) can just write whatever and people will take it as fact. Im probably guilty of it, but its just funny to point out when people make shit up and then just pass it off as fact and other people saying "interesting, yes I concur sir". Tbf I speak to some of the mods of the reddit sub and they are nice enough / down to earth people, they don't have any bad intentions, its just that some morons (just like on this forum) write whatever they want.

Ask them why they banned users after posting about this site on their sub. I'd be interested in their rationale.

But you can post about bigfooty there, seems hypocritical wouldn't you say?

Reddit is great for the sheer number of fans and engagement. But the mods handle issues very poorly and seem quite insecure about the place.

HAHAHAAHAHAAHAAHAH I dont have an account nor ever contemplated setting one up but if anyone here does, please jump on that thread about how the APL can "grow" its compoetiton by engaing with the wonderful Indonesian crowds from last night by suggesting that a new Aleague franchise called Jakarta FC be launched in Sydney... that will boost their "metrics".....

You know a post is *particularly* moronic when even the moderators of the sub think its bad.

To be honest this time I was impressed with some of the responses. A couple of times people mentioned the history of clubs that went out of their way to attract broad support

I mean why not? Even if most people dont make politics their 24 7 obsession doesnt mean st pauli dont

A lot of people arent religious these days but it would still be weird for a militant atheist to play for a club with a strong catholic identity

In the end botic and st pauli would be a great football mix but a wierd off the park mix

scrolling through the archives of reddit to see what the reaction was to the nyl getting scrapped but people are surprisingly ok with it over there

it is remarkable that a league clubs can't afford a nyl, but the nsl had clubs with 2 teams in the nyl and a reserve team in the state league
