I don't think they were below par. But I think they successfully trialled a new defensive pairing and Gk. Build from the back and all that. It's what Jackson did last year.

Anyway a couple more games and it'll start coming together.
 
The last match day I watched Johor (Malaysia) tear Shanghai Shenhua apart 3-0. They were excellent and the stadium/ atmosphere looked like something from a top European league.
 
Hate to say I picked it, although it's still early. Mariners aren't as good nor sharp as they were last season, and Shanghai are!
 
I do see improvement in ccm....just hope they dont leave it too late to sneak into the r16. This is the third match they still look like they are figuring out each others names
 
Just can't let them put 3 on you, it's never going to end well.

Mind you that assist for our second was sublime
 
Wasn't to long ago alou kuol was our next beacon of hope. Now nobody really mentions him and his probably gone backwards.

Is there any chance he can recapture his form?
