Was curious about who did the best in terms of pure shot stopping. The way I'm measuring it is XGOT-Goals conceded divided by games played.

Positive scores are good and the higher the score the better. Noah James probably benefiting from a small sample size. Any suprises?

PlayerShot stopping score
Devinish Meares-0.16
Matt Sutton-0.14
Oli Sail+0.08
Beach+0.13
Peraic Cullen+0.09
Paulson+0.14
Thomson+0.06
Noah James+0.53
Oluwayemi-0.00
Acton-0.42
Delianov-0.37
Langerak-0.14
Freke-0.54
Duncan-0.09

What’s the list ranked by? I can’t really tell.

Why isn't VAR on the list for team Officials? It has stopped some bloody awesome 'otherwise' goals.

Just a gut feel, but surely VAR has stopped more goals that the refs put in the net than allowed goals the refs kept out - or is my gut wrong.

I do not suggest that the officials get many calls wrong - just thinking about the general flow of VAR goal decision reversals.

Not relevant to the thread of course :P

Jack Duncan is missing from that list. He played the first 13 games for MV before Langerak arrived.

Jut realized Alex Paulsen's last season was insane. 26 goals conceded and 38.9 xgot which would give him an insane score of +0.48
