The funniest is when AFL people call footballers soft - has anyone seen how camp AFL 'fights' are - just huffing and puffing and pulling a jumper. Absolute pansies.
Then we get criticised for being violent hooligans - I can never work out what we are in the Aussie public's eyes - homos or dangerous violent terrorists![]()

No worries grandpa. Way to insult as many fellow Australians as possible in one paragraph .....Well for those of you too young, back in the 1970s (yep, way back then) the king hits were serious, the full on brawls were serious and no reports. I remember seeing an essendon player knocked totally unconscious from being king hit. And because there was only ever one game broadcast, these incidents were never caught on camera. Even Dermott Brereton is on the record that he felt ashamed the way he KO'd Williams and then claimed the free kick and 15m because teh unconscious Williams did not get up on the mark.
And on the stands and the way back to the train station there were brawls everywhere. I only went to Victoria Park once and that was more frightening than when I was in Colombia at the height of Escobar's drug war. People wondered why I wasn't weary and that was because I went to Victoria Park.
As for the old NSL - the Serbian clubs vs teh Croatian clubs - that was even more brutal because they had knuckle dusters and knives. As far as I'm concerned, they will always be Yugos, period. And the Croats telling how their chants are about independence. Bollocks, I grew up amongst Croats , that is brain washing.
And my final game that I attended was at South Melbourne's Lakeside oval where the Irish hooligans, UDF, were trying to intimidate people. BTW I don't speak Greek ("You greek?", No fuck off,m and what have you done since the Byzantine empire which was part Roman anyway).
So I am all for the A-League. I get to watch sport, not some nationalistic claptrap that gets brainwashed into people.
I wasn't even tryingNo worries grandpa. Way to insult as many fellow Australians as possible in one paragraph .....
Stick to Aleague ... absolutely NO brainwashing going on there...
