Did seem like pragmatism finally won out over philosophy for the second half.

Who knew that sometimes it's prudent to park the bus and shut up shop.

Well done Ange. Still won't forgive you for leaving Australia high and dry 3 months before a world cup because you threw a little tanty but good work here.

True though don't we all carry some scares.....though I think he made a good stand against our regime sounds like lack of support and its not surprising when talking about the FA FFA whoever running our game are pretty gutless to make a stand, spouse he thought he had to.
I sure wouldn't like going through the longest qualie's and still be shit canned.
He sure has stuck by his guns in this tenure with everything been thrown at him and once again from our own minnows like Lupi's depsite being not much.
I did struggle how he left us but it is water under the bridge - when will another Aussie gaffa ever do anything as such again ?
Can't see it.
I'd even put my neck out and prefer he guiding the Roos again instead of Poppa.
He obviously gets his troops behind him even with background bad press from some players the last months (Romero one yet he played a blinder), they still put in.

I like Ange. I went to all 3 grand finals in Brisbane when he coached the Roar and had them humming. What a fantastic few years.

BUT for someone who talks so much about the players and the club being the most important thing he really shafted us. And to make matters worse no one, to this day, knows why he actually resigned.

Taking nothing away from his win here. I'm conflicted to say the least.

oh please... they defeated one of the top teams in the Bundesliga and gained a point away to the Europa League champions

undefeated at home this season in the CL. You can caveat it all you want you can only play the opposition in front of you.

Ange never won a single game and only managed a point to the decimated bomb dodgers from Donestk after leading twice in two games. Game...

But you've held the Europa League in high regard when it suits you...

Yeah your right Tottenham has far too many trophies in their cabinet one more is barely even gonna make any of their supporters notice... I man sure, the 4th backup keeper, Kilusevski on crutches, even Maddison changed into match day kit lining up to get a winner medal (and poor Son and Romero missed out because of it) ... Europa league means NOTHING especially to all the other English teams with Continental trophies this year... such a fraud of a person sometimes...
