The Ange at Tottenham Thread

bit of a bogey team to get but no excuse to not make the final at least.

Could be a very interesting and open final both Bilbao and United are pretty attacking.
 
A Manure v Tottenham final would be pretty epic.

Great hard fought win. It definitely was an absolute battle, and agree deserved result across both legs.

Clear penalty for me. No malice from the GK but you have to award the player that wins the ball and that is a foul every day of the week anywhere on the park.

Ange soldiers on. Hearing the players and seeing the reaction of them and all the staff shows me that he is far from losing the dressing room. Huge win for their belief and togetherness.

Spurs theoretically have a better chance of reaching the final, but it is Spurs.

The league is weird now, mathematically Spurs are safe. They can lose every game for the rest of the season and nothing will change. So there is no incenctive other than pride for Spurs to go out and try win every game for the rest of the season.

Also given the gravity of the Europa League (silverware + UCL), you'd be pretty stupid to put it at risk by over-exerting your key players.
 
ofcourse - theoretically they have a opponent not as rated as Athletic manure face but yer todays spurs is worse than ever.

Yep the league nothing really matters but pride and huge for the fans - blokes in a no won situation coming game vs LFC with 3day break before Glimt at home.
He might have some luck IF Palace get a draw vs Arse tomorrow therefore Slot may ease up some usual start up players but he'll also have the expectations to finish it off @ home and very well for celebrations sake :)
Ange putting out a weak line up is logical but it could turn really ugly IF we are on song to close it all up.
This could be really bad when I think about it for him even though I'll be in 20th celebrations.

they're 16th in the Premier League and have to win all their remaining games to avoid becoming the worst Spurs team in Premier League history, would you like to comment on that? didn't think so.
 
Comical performance from Romero lol I dont understand how Tel and Odebert are PL wingers they are absolute trash, even Nestory would at least get some shots on target. Woeful.

Mate I and others agree that they have been shite in the league but ange has them in a semi final so I think you need to be a bit unbiased in your analysis

its a weak tournament with no clubs dropping down from the CL as they did under the old format. This season's Europa League is equivalent to last season's Conference League. It's nothing Ange did, its the quality of players against lower leagues.
