Disagree, the communication has been appalling... Its Feb and yet no announcement.... maybe we hear something today, maybe next week, whatever it is... Im sure it cant be revolutionary... juts being led along by the nose to keep the fires burning.... why dont they just rip off the bandaid and make a bold move?
No argument there (your stating reality!)...my new years resolution was to be a glass half full kinda guy regarding the NST 🤣 hence the wishful thinking! 🤣

I don't understand the detractors saying its the NPL 2 or NSL Reborn. Hume never competed in the NSL, are they saying we should create NEW teams for the NSD? Where do expect to get clubs from not the NPL?
must be the vague ethnic connection?

Adelaide City announced a while back that they're a definite in for 26. If FA have gone after another from SA, that could be Metrostars or the merger.

And north Queensland, wow, that's awesome but will also add hefty costs for the league. I wonder if Fury are returning?
Hope it is Metro Stars, they are the most go-ahead club in Adelaide. City, although still good on the field, are not well run at the moment from an admin point of view.

Anyone see the football Australia post about all the npl competitions starting dates also mentioned the NSD will start October 10th
wow they buried the start date haha

Yeah I've seen those points mentioned a few times. City not in the best financial state but starting to get sponsors onboard. And Metrostars haven't missed a beat on and off field, always finish top two, getting facilities built, good player development etc. City currently seem a "romantic" pick, but if they can get the backing then an SA derby would be great for the NST too.
