APL are also claiming that FA owe them cash. Interesting times.

Yeah but some NST clubs have mooted some monster sponsors. Naming and broadcast from memory. Could be all talk but at least let them try.
Yeah its crazy they arent allowed to at least try

Dont give funding and see if it works. All reward no risk

and on the wheel turns.... fmd

3 years ago, on the other forum, we were all saying, let the clubs try it, if they have the money..... 36 month later its the same convo .... :( so depressed right now.
Have u heard any worrying rumours or just going off the vibe of the video and the loss of somwone who seemed interested in an nst?

From all stakeholders to date to be fair..

We are 5 months away and nothing but impractical silence across the board and a half baked tournament at best.

Are they waiting to sell the product last minute? this should already be promoted as the post aleague continuation of football or something along those lines to create as much traction as possible.. marketing/promotion is less than zilch from the start, but atleast it had the perception of a commited admin at the helm... now not even that, and thats where all the pessimism/worry stems from, and this will undoubtedly turn ugly if it fails before it even starts.

Just gotta find a way so that the grassroots clubs are so well supported that it becomes impossible to suppress them

The last recollection I read was the the FA only had input with the APL was below :

Football Australia and the Australian Professional Leagues (APL) agreed to separate the A-League, W-League, and Y-League from Football Australia in 2020, with the APL taking operational, commercial, and marketing control. This "unbundling" allowed the APL to manage the professional leagues independently, while Football Australia retained regulatory functions. The APL also gained exclusive rights to the E-League brand.
This another presser :
