Let's kick this off shall we.

who is worse? Aoyama or Hamzaoui?

My favourite franchise is looking to have a dismal season.

Crowds are going to drop. I think we might find ourselves in some serious trouble.

Anyway… let’s start a discussion about the players you really want to watch this season.

I really hope to see Susan Phonsongkham link up with Kelli Brown as our regular dynamic duo up front!

Not only this but the players who were performing in pre-season like Gomulka have dropped off TREMENDOUSLY.
Anyone can perform in Pre Season against NPL teams/underdone Aleague teams.

Pretty sure Gomulka couldn't get a game at Brisbane or whatever he has been previously and now suddenly he is a mainstay of the Midfield, ridiculous.

real sad seeing its decline for such a bastion Club of the past.
Got to say their coaching appointments for sometime been questionable as well.
Garcia
Ruben now sub standard at BR says enough.
Poor DZ, he's jumped from gig to gig and don't see him turning the ship.
The ownership changes, limbo for sometime, its a long book to read.
Least you guys got some honours compared to other Franchise's despite all the hurdles.
I have admired Stan's playing career for a long time as many of us have and kudos he back at his roots but never thought he was a Director of Football type.
I wish him all the best and for you guys.

I've said this in the past...
The 2 times we've had any success in the A-League (2011/12 finished 3rd and made the GF, 2018/19, finished 1st and hosted the GF), it was with a coach who already had experience coaching another team in the A-League (Ferguson and Poppa).

But when you look back thru the list of coaches Perth have had in the history of the A-League ( https://aleaguestats.com/A-League (Men)_6PerthGlory.html#CoachingHistory ), most of them came in with no experience at the A-League level.
McMahon, Smith, Mitchell, Edwards, Lowe, Garcia, Zadkovich.
Apart from Zadkovich, I don't think any of them stayed at A-League-or-higher coaching level afterwards.

The only exception to this was Staj, who had A-League experience but was unsuccessful. He was signed very late and didn't have much control over the squad he was given. Would've liked to see him have one more season where he could've been judged by the squad he assembled in his 2nd season in charge.
But nooooo.... Apparently getting rid of him be we could sign yet another coach with no experience was the right choice... :|

If I'm counting correctly that their 5th midseason departure after Muir, Canga, Caicedo, and Amini.
