Including stuff like free legal representation to women experiencing or at risk of homelessness, due to domestic violence etc.

She will tell you that feminism is supposed to be about the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of gender equality. Trans women are included in that, and so they are generally included in 'feminism'....

However these days, her views are routinely denounced in elite left-leaning circles as transphobic. She says she favours reasonable accommodations for trans people in areas like sports and bathrooms, but she rejects what she calls the 'biological silliness' of denying the gender binary. She thinks trans women are different from natal women and should be called 'trans women,- not 'women.'

It's mystery to her how the media and political classes have become slaves to the trans and woke agendas. If their focus groups included real, normal people I’m sure they’d discover that these issues neither sell papers or win votes.....

I just think this shutting down of the debate solves nothing. We can't live in a world where everything is 'strawberries and cream' and anyone who has a different view from the milieu is a nazi or a knuckle dragger.

Yeah....Nah...Well to be honest she takes no interest in football, either women's or men's whatsoever. She wouldn't even know the rules. The only sports she will take an interest in are netball, hockey and swimming at the Olympics and Commonwealth Games and maybe the Australian Open and Wimbledon tennis......

I have no issue with your/ your wife's point. However, I disagree that the media and political classes have become slaves to trans and woke agendas. Lets not exaggerate what is happening.
