Why have those that are waiting on decisions not been told?? Stephen Conroy is a statue and a symbolic figurehead. He is not a real person, he will not approve anything because he doesn't have a soul.
Due diligence takes time. FFA clearly didn't do it first time around with WU, so I imagine that they are being very careful this time.

You must be devastated big man !
Is that the Scottish way of spelling "fascinated"? Im just here for the drama mate... no dog in this fight. Just waiting to see what bones we can pick from the carcass of yet another failed franchise.

Somebody should get little Louie Sticca on the phone, the Aleague may need another "geographic territory placeholder pty ltd" soon....

The ring fell off my pudding can...

To me, crowds are not a metric that we should be looking at, and you know well my stance on that, but it is the metric YOU are now arguing.

There are bigger state league clubs that have been doing the ground work in preparation. In fairness, the FA has been trying, getting the trophy around the grounds. The crowds are getting excited.

Let's see what happens with this AC and build from there. Make it a H&A season and get cracking.
For the record, Preston crowds have dropped off massively - 20% what they were at the start of the season, maybe less

Thats an internal issue for the club to sort out.... The fans are there, they'll come again...
Sure, but dropping off to 1/5 of what it was is pretty bad

TBH, I am not sure they would. One thing I noticed at the Hellas Australia Cup game when they were still in Div below, most were theatre goers. I was actually expecting much more intensity from the crowd.

Sure I agree the Aus cup was theatre goars from both sides... but this seasons league matches, especially when they came to us,. it was their core support... Don't read too much into it, the weather is getting worse, the performances arent as good as they were at the start of the year.. conversely OUR crowds are picking up a little... swings and roundabouts in NPL, you know that... when/if this Championship is a success they'll have an extremely healthy fan base to build from...

Thats such an odd take, it really is.... Im not ahve a go at you but the immediate answer is WHO CARES wghat the crowds are like?

South Melbourne may be currently getting crowds of 500 people at a state league match but we have been surviving for the past 20 years in no mans land playing neighberhood clubs with even less fans than that.... WU cant even pay their players and will be liquidated.. The difference has nothing to do with ethnicity or history or whatever its the franchise MODEL that doesn't work...

Do you not see the fact that NOT ONE SINGLE past NSL champion has folded into obscurity and still survives to this day as club (a few in very low leagues compared to their glory days btw) as a stark contrast to a franchise winning the Aleague and folding 2 years later?
Are you sure about your last paragraph ?

Hakoah still exist though, Mono…

Thats just makes my statement even MORE valid :)
