It might be bad luck re train strikes but the state of the pitch at Leichhardt was obvious at least last Saturday when Sydney played Wanderers.
Yet it took until Tuesday for the APL to change the venue.

Either or, the train strikes would have been disruptive either way.

It's going to be a pain to get around Sydney this weekend.

It's nearly as bizarre as playing a Perth home game 4000km away in Sydney.
Good chance of it having both the lowest crowd and lowest streaming numbers for the season.
 
Watching Perth vs Western utd, being played at Allianz in Sydney, is evidence that Townsend & anyone else involved in this deal two years ago, were a disease for the A League.
It's a very good game but no one there to watch it.

Yeah, enduring the 6 month off season to then realise that round 1 was a flipping bye for my team was special too.
