Which Western United player does your A League Club need/want?

Melbourne City having lost Jeggo and Ugarkovic could use midfield reinforcement, especially with them playing in the Asian Champions League
Thurgate would make an excellent addition.

I reckon both Melbourne sides will be chasing Thurgate. I'd be surprised if he ended up elsewhere.

I wonder how much knowledge the other clubs had about this situation. CFG would definitely have the most inside knowledge due to their position at the APL. Could be one of the reasons signings have been a bit minimal. Clubs all waiting for a crack at the WU squad.

Adelaide will sign a GK, CB, AM and striker (Archie will go) so I’d take Sutton, Leonard and Thurgate. Would sign a new visa striker though, Ibusuki doesn’t really suit our style of play anymore.

Leonard, Thurgate, Bozinovski, Grimaldi and Walatee would be decent pick ups for any side.

Such a shame this squad is going to get depleted because it’s got a lot of potential to do well this season.

CCM not in the market as no money available-if there was Thurgate ,Leonard and Ibusuki.CCM fans would not like Thurgate because of his previous Jets association but he is a worker and now plenty of A League experience.
