That was back when he was a teenager. It all hypotheticals.
What I do know right now as a fact , is Teague is in the national squad and he couldn't cut it in Portugese liga 2.

Mooy wasn't successful at St Mirren, before being one of the Socceroos most skillful players. It all hypotheticals.

Hoof ball is harsh, but it is true that we were on the physical end of the spectrum. Countries that were on the physical end of the spectrum certainly declined over the last 20 years. Even Ireland was a big team in the early 2000s.While I agree to some extent to the drop in standards, the other issue is the change in football, many here complain that Scottish football is more hoffball & more direct, this was the EPL in the 90s & early 2000s.
Look at the EPL sides, the British type players are getting less & less in the EPL, football is a lot more about skill than it was in the 90s & 2000s.
I stand by my original statement, we have not produced too many players with the technical skill level of Kewell & Viduka.
Every kid that shows potential is called the new Kewell or new Viduka, never have I heard a player called the new Trimboli or new Markovski.

He played quite well in the U-23 Asian cup last year. It was the attackers who couldn't do the job.So since then, what has he done to show he is at the national level?
Been the best CM/CDM in the ALM this year. Similarly when Mooy came back to the AL. Wouldnt be surprised if he went overseas for some serious coin.So since then, what has he done to show he is at the national level?
I don't know where the goals come from the midfield is lacking creativity and the forwards aren't super in form maybe Boyle looks our most likely scorer. Is anyone actually confident that we will get anything out of this game with Indonesia? The FA and Paramount/Ch10 will be hoping we do it hard and get to the playoffs then the intercontinental play offs as it will bring in more views from more games being played.
It'll be Behich and Miller as the outlets. Obvious ball to Irvine. Stumble, backpass, lose possession. Miller did overlap nicely against China last time so hopefully more of that.I don't know where the goals come from the midfield is lacking creativity and the forwards aren't super in form maybe Boyle looks our most likely scorer.

Hollman another. Such a good handy player but others have something of a bigger status and that keeps him out. He's got to get overseas.Looking at the A-league in insulation
In Thurgate, Milanovic, J Hollman, Botic
Out Teague, Tilio, Taggart and to a lesser extent Arzani and I would be optimistic.

Most group games have seen something odd or very late occur. That's football of course but it's pretty uncanny.I'm still stunned that after 6 matches, we have only won one game and sit second in the pool.
