yeah as I said on twitter 7 of the starting xi spent substantial time in camp (I think Burgess came late?) and Circati spent the last 2 days. Cohesian is hopefully better

wonder if jetlag from europe to perth is better or worse than jetlag from usa?

It'll have to be a conservative build up and smother with the wing backs but fat chance Japan will leave spaces. Still, high attack and the two getting it behind can create chances. Definitely not the most promising. What do we do if it's goalless on 70? A point does mean Saudi must beat Bahrain.
 
That line up just fills me with sadness. It’s not even b-grade. There’s just nothing there to inspire any kind of optimism. Where are the goals coming from?

Arnold wouldn't be overly different with Borrello and he'd have Baccus for Teague. Frustrating some in form deserving players are being overlooked.

It's the three young guys left out. Makes sense for this type of match. It would have been the biggest call to start Toure up front
 
Tough when the Japanese is such a different squad.
I am slightly optimistic. This is usually a bad thing as we seem to do better when I have more expectations.
