Quick question: I'm reffing late tonight so I couldn't be arsed getting up at 4.30am. Is it possible on Paramount to watch a replay at say 8am?

The Para replays take a while to be available, but the full match replay is usually first available as opposed to the Para 3 min highlights replay video, or Para 20 min mini-match replay.

I think I'm going to get up at circa 5.20 am and watch the last 35 mins. Then watch the rest of the game before what I see live, when it appears on replay later in the day.

4pm is a tough time to get up.

Being cautious I'm worried about conceding 2 in the first 20 and being in all sorts too!

Hope there is a good ref who isn't conned by an emotive Saudi team, backed by a huge parochial crowd .

I think you can go back and "start from beginning" with Paramount.

But just touching on JS' comments - there's a platform - and I'm pretty sure it's Paramount - where if you're watching delayed while it's still live, once the live feed ends, it plays up with where you're watching at the moment.

I think maybe I experienced that while watching another AFC game. Always try to get Australia dead on live.

Paramount can be fickle. Sometimes the fast forward and rewind functions don't work!

I hope we play with confidence. Popa (of course) will set up defensively but we need to have an outlet and a threat on the counter.

They have to get five so why not attack form the start. We get one... game over.

I'll be getting up about 5.30 and expecting to watch us coast home.

As I said earlier, the only concern is a bribed ref and one or two red cards and penalties.
 
The FIFA Referees Committee has appointed a Qatari officiating team to oversee the crucial World Cup 2026 qualifier between Saudi Arabia and Australia. The team will be led by referee Abdulrahman Al-Jassim, with Taleb Al-Marri as first assistant referee, Saud Ahmed as second assistant referee, and Abdulhadi Al-Ruaile as the fourth official. Abdullah Al-Marri and Mohammed Al-Sharif will serve as VAR officials.
 
I've been struggling to sleep recently until around 3-4am, so I don't know whether to just stay up or not
