He has a point though. It's simply too expensive for some young people to live and buy a home and have a family.

Loads of young people, my kids included, are like 'fuck it', may as well enjoy ourselves.

It's a massive issue that has no short term solution.

Interestingly, as we've been saying here previously, when the population can't be propped up with immigration then presumably there'll be a surplus of housing and, you'd think, a coincident drop in house prices.

It may yet, but not for decades, sort itself out.
