If Denmark form group F that's fairly tight group I think. Tricky Armenia away.

Scotland have it rough.

Farkin, get it done Portugal........

The UEFA 2nd round format is 16 teams playing off for 4 spots - the 12 WCQ group runners up and 4 teams qualified from the 2024-25 Nations league

The aspect I don't like about the Nations League tie in is that there is no requirement for the teams qualifying via that method to finish 3rd in their WCQ group so potentially finish 4th of 4 in Groups A-F or 5th of 5 in Groups G-J of WCQ and still make it to the next stage.

Last time (2022) it was the difference between Austria who were 4th on 16 points (and 7 points behind 2nd) making the playoffs ahead of Albania who were 3rd on 18 points (and a draw against Poland away from finishing 2nd).

I see what you mean. Tricky as the Nations League should have some merit. It's true there are flaws where higher ranked teams can tank the qualification and still have a safety net. Not so much for Germany but more for a country like Austria, that's the allure of going as high as you can.

England debut with Tuchel to be interesting.

England 1-0 up against Albania in the second half. Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly scoring on debut in the 20th minute, assisted by Bellingham.

Aye Scotland got battered. Must be some repercussions when you have two teams so far ahead of everyone else in the country

Look at Croatia. They have had largely same thing in the past - they are world class.
