if you have to ask you probably areWhat is being woke, or wokeness?
My blood pressure did not even budge. I just laughed. He knows what it means. Woke or wokeness is a term or slur weaponised by the poltical right against the likes of your tribe.
Virtue signalling......
The privileged white middle class kids who are now politically situated on the left. Maybe they'll have an excellent education, a great well paid career in the public sector, the media or increasingly in the corporate sector. They'll read the Guardian,The Saturday Paper or The Monthly. Hell bent on diversity, equity and inclusion at any cost....
Always on the lookout for an oppression situation to discover so they can play the blame game.
But the diversity and oppression agenda's only really include people based on race or gender. It stops at class and education. You'll never see a white working class male from the outer suburbs asked his opinion on poltical discrimination on Q & A....
So 'Woke'. No matter your political stance or cultural affiliation, this short and simple word, in use since the twelfth century, now has the power to raise your blood pressure and nd your guard.....
I rarely use it. I don't like it much....![]()
Good retort. I knew you'd come up with a well reasoned counter-factual answer.....My blood pressure did not even budge. I just laughed.
Such broad generalisations for a large cohort of people and even though the people mentioned, 'white working-class males' seemed to vote left in many elections.
Keep following auspilled to tell you what and who you should be mad at this week because I have never seen a happy right-whinger. Depression is a killer.
Definitely are.....if you have to ask you probably are
woke = out of touch with reality. Will jeapordise the safety of the community for inclusivity and virtue signaling. These people tend not to accept accountability or try and understand other points of view.
It's why youth crime is so high these days because there are no consequences.
Good retort. I knew you'd come up with a well-reasoned counter-factual answer.....Good retort. I knew you'd come up with a well reasoned counter-factual answer.....
Such clever clogs the young left-leaning hipster demographic.
Haha....talk about broad generalisations rooted in falsehoods.Good retort. I knew you'd come up with a well-reasoned counter-factual answer.....
Such clever clogs the old geriatric and terminally online far-right demographic.
Seem a bit upset there using your -isms.Haha....talk about broad generalisations rooted in falsehoods.
Ageism - the last socially acceptable prejudice. Age bias is seldom on the radar of the trendy left......
So what does this 'woke' term mean then?Seem a bit upset there using your -isms.
Maybe cry into a safety blanket, snowflake.

This is the bullshit I hate. As soon as people ask questions, the retort is, "why don't you google it" or "if you don't know, then that's your fault"if you have to ask you probably are
Thank you for the response. Not sure if this your view or the actual defining. I would have to say that I disagree with that definition, but not with the idea of lack of consequence.woke = out of touch with reality. Will jeapordise the safety of the community for inclusivity and virtue signaling. These people tend not to accept accountability or try and understand other points of view.

Youth crime is actually not that high. All records show that is at it's lowest -at least in Queensland. The issue of youth crime is not simply a lack of consequence, but an issue of the systemic issues that exist in terms of cost of living, health accessibility, access to education and support services.
