The privileged white middle class kids who are now politically situated on the left. Maybe they'll have an excellent education, a great well paid career in the public sector, the media or increasingly in the corporate sector. They'll read the Guardian,The Saturday Paper or The Monthly. Hell bent on diversity, equity and inclusion at any cost....

Always on the lookout for an oppression situation to discover so they can play the blame game.

But the diversity and oppression agenda's only really include people based on race or gender. It stops at class and education. You'll never see a white working class male from the outer suburbs asked his opinion on poltical discrimination on Q & A....

So 'Woke'. No matter your political stance or cultural affiliation, this short and simple word, in use since the twelfth century, now has the power to raise your blood pressure and nd your guard.....

My blood pressure did not even budge. I just laughed.

Such broad generalisations for a large cohort of people and even though the people mentioned, 'white working-class males' seemed to vote left in many elections.

Keep following auspilled to tell you what and who you should be mad at this week because I have never seen a happy right-whinger. Depression is a killer.

Thank you for the response. Not sure if this your view or the actual defining. I would have to say that I disagree with that definition, but not with the idea of lack of consequence.

Youth crime is actually not that high. All records show that is at it's lowest -at least in Queensland. The issue of youth crime is not simply a lack of consequence, but an issue of the systemic issues that exist in terms of cost of living, health accessibility, access to education and support services.

Yeah but that's complicated and thinking about it makes my head hurt. It's much easier if I blame 'wokeness', immigrants and diversity for all of societies ills.

I want simple answers not multi-faceted complex ones.
