Paul Trimboli walks on water........I love Trimmers. We don't see enough of him.
Did the new viking warrior play?2-2 draw with Essendon Royals in a friendly last night
He was at the match but didn’t playDid the new viking warrior play?
I still haven't seen a "signing announcement" yet is he locked in for sure? Are we expecting anyone else to sign on?He was at the match but didn’t play
It hasn’t been announced yet but assume he has if he’s flown all the way back here again and has footballer at South Melbourne written on his insta bio.I still haven't seen a "signing announcement" yet is he locked in for sure? Are we expecting anyone else to sign on?
I think Halfpenny can rotate with Ross very smoothly... its a backup #9 I really wish for.It hasn’t been announced yet but assume he has if he’s flown all the way back here again and has footballer at South Melbourne written on his insta bio.
I still would like to see one more midfielder in especially if Archibald is out for a while as he missed the game last night but not sure what the clubs plans are
Halfpenny looks to have improved from last season from the pre-season friendly games I’ve seen. Hopefully him and Pope come on this season as they will be important members of the squad and hopefully Leech is back from injury for round 1I think Halfpenny can rotate with Ross very smoothly... its a backup #9 I really wish for.
There we go
I was pleased with both Pope and Halfpenny.... looking at the squad and rethinking Im pretty happy with were we are at to be honest.... thats IF he makes the matchday squad.....With Piol going overseas and Bosnjak called up for the Aus U20’s, Sawyer might finally get a game for the Bulls
Sawyer got 6 minutes on the weekend, in front of what looked like 17 people....... Poor Harry, what a dud move.thats IF he makes the matchday squad.....![]()
if he can perform a smidgeon like gangally Crouchy at NPL levels he might do ok without heading LOL.....at 6"7' hed better be bloody good at heading the ball![]()
Get those arms pumped up Maxxie....![]()

DANISH brother, never Dutch... hahahahahahahaahahif he can perform a smidgeon like gangally Crouchy at NPL levels he might do ok without heading LOL.....
This will be interesting viewing his first few games.
Left hooker, another dutch curriculum lad MSC haha.....
7 goals to 6 yellows, must have put his beak in the way
I do get the reasoning for the move on Harry's part to some extent (wanting to give it a red hot go)... but this could possibly turn out a career killer if he stays stagnant too long in a mediocre (Sawyer got 6 minutes on the weekend, in front of what looked like 17 people....... Poor Harry, what a dud move.
Sad reality is that I can see him coming back to an NST/NPL team in a year or two without a lot of match fitness...I do get the reasoning for the move on Harry's part to some extent (wanting to give it a red hot go)... but this could possibly turn out a career killer if he stays stagnant too long in a mediocre (and im being kind) team. Given the moves in npl/nst why would you have taken that risk is the big question?.. also no doubt 17ppl in stands has to be a good night out that way
