Guys fighting to come in from the top of my foggy mind are Irankunda, Segecic, Waddingham, Goodwin (?), Leonard, Di Pizio.
Goodwin and Segecic too old. I already listed most of the players who will fight to join this squad a little earlier. In the end, Irankunda is the biggest addition and most necessary.

Looks like the U20 beat Iraq 3-2 and are heading to the semis plus nabbed the world cup spot. Well done.

Ah that's a shame! I'll try to find your post.

Imagine adding Youlley, Younis, Irankunda, Waddingham, Caputo, Di Pizio, Leonard, Lino, De Jesus, Pavlesic, Peraic-Cullen etc to this team. Selection will be cut-throat.
So these are the other players eligible. Irankunda would be huge. A bit more depth in midfield would be welcome. Youlley and Younis could be handy.

the list of players missing (see u23s thread) could probably beat the team we saw today. It was cool for that to be the case for the olyroos, now its true of the u20s

Look at Jovanovic dropping to avoid being hit by the shot for the 3rd goal. Ball was way high but just that extra focus to maximise the chance.

It feels so good after falling so close on penalties last time.

Didn't see the Saudi U17 outfit but their U20 has certainly got a lot of Afro Saudis. I don't know the exact history but it seems a lot have come from East Africa over the decades making it a solid part of Saudi sporting society given the fast twitch muscle fibres of such genetics. It makes you wonder when they may be entirely of Afro decent.

Yahya, being nimble and skilled always came across as Brazilian to me but he's definitely Saudi.

Huge win first U20 world cup for over a decade.

I'll be surprised if Jovanovic and Badolato are still in the a-league come July.

Want to see Bennie tried at RWB for us in the Socceroos.

Am expecting Japan next up but let's wait and see. Am I right that Australia haven't played Iran at all in U17, U20, U23 or Socceroos since the infamous game in '97?
