Official South Melbourne Hellas thread 🔵⚪

I believe the club is currently struggling to find a caretaker coach till the end of the season as the newly appointed coach would only be there until the end of the NPL season with the club in talks to try and lure Johnny A as coach for the Australian Championship.

No coach would want to take the job if they know they won’t be there after the end of the NPL season and nothing for them to gain apart from having a relegation with South Melbourne on their resume.

I’m trying so hard not to be negative and being hopeful but I can see all this blowing up in our face what happens if Heidelberg get in will Johnny A actually leave them

sth have said they are taking legal action on many clubs and games in just the last 4 years alone. Esp Oakleigh having a 15 year old on the bench, sth are a shambles

what south have been begging to be a part of from the start, bidding for licenses, bidding to buy out multiple clubs and expansions, failing at the same time

Im unaware of court cases, what we do know is the obvious conflict of interest between the federation and Oakleigh that every club has allowed to slide, including Oakleigh being able to choose its own punishment for the Dandenong fiasco last season.

South is run by bozos but that doesnt excuse the above.

Do you agree with clubs being able to choose their own punishments?

I remember the 5 nil smashing. I remember Oakleigh being able to sign an A league player for a grand final whilst no such luxury was afforded to South. Maybe we should have argued that all our forwards down to our under 8s were injured lol. Then again only 1 clubs general manager has his wife in football victoria.

And how did signing the goaly win them the game, south had zero on target, there 14 year old would of been sufficient

I remember they said the 21's keeper was injured even though he played the full game like the week before lol

I didnt say it won them the game, i said they blatantly rorted the rules and got away with it.

Then during the 1st half they elbowed Max Mikkola in the face off the ball, subbed out to concussion, clear straight red and not even a booking when the score was 1-0.

Well to be honest, what happened in the next 2 grand finals, another 6 goals lol, that’s like 11 conceded 3 years in a row, and a total combined 6000 supporters to watch 3 grand finals. How do you guys expect to get people to games if you can’t even get 2k to a granny
