I like Ange. I went to all 3 grand finals in Brisbane when he coached the Roar and had them humming. What a fantastic few years.

BUT for someone who talks so much about the players and the club being the most important thing he really shafted us. And to make matters worse no one, to this day, knows why he actually resigned.

Taking nothing away from his win here. I'm conflicted to say the least.

I get the confliction Muz.
I harboured it as well but I can't see the point keep being as such when good occurs.
We lack so much having high fliers in top flight compared to the past I rejoice he's in the news for it bounces back for our game even though to this day nothing much occurs leveraging good results - this has alot of coincidence for me and our Governance.
Correct to this day we don't know any of the real facts but some assumptions, its obvious there is alot of deep issues underneath that I'm not surprised and he's being honourable not speaking out is my take.
EZ mentions to FO Slater, he's nothing but a mouth piece like many around, its the FFA - reading between the lines they didn't keep to their word here and there I suspect matters that were Important - sure he's a dog on the bone (his Roo style of play didn't suit might I add) as well but I can imagine what a shit show it is to manage our NT let alone have a board that leaves you high and dry.
Maybe going on too much.

oh please... they defeated one of the top teams in the Bundesliga and gained a point away to the Europa League champions

undefeated at home this season in the CL. You can caveat it all you want you can only play the opposition in front of you.

Ange never won a single game and only managed a point to the decimated bomb dodgers from Donestk after leading twice in two games. Game...

But you've held the Europa League in high regard when it suits you...

cursed in finals for Liverpool that guy was. Was 3 in a row he came off injured in wasn't it?
Oh wait - I checked before I submitted - 2 in a row came off injured. Third one he came on off the bench.
 
yer sorry for HK NCB, sucks he got the injury curse and worse our fans booed him coming off at that massive final thinking he was faking it :( I felt so bad for him and pissed off at the same time wishing he to be a main cog that game.
Groin abducter issues kept plauging him but he had a cracker 05/06 season.
Anyway spurs ange thread lets keep rejoicing.
Huge press out post game, Amorin saying he'll walk if they say so, lets see what Levy does this I can't wait for now.

If Levy brings down the axe, he's a hypocrite.

More than likely, if Ange goes, he does it of his own accord a la Socceroos exit.
 
The question is what now? UCL next year does he keep Tel or look for another forward? I'd say that's the end for Richie he was absolutely incredible though he seems to thrive under Ange he just doesn't stop.

Needs probably a left back - id be going for Kerkez and probably a winger/forward? maybe another attacking midfielder?

Oh Kerkez is off to liverpool lol

jas88, I think that was the most effective Rich has been in ages prior to injury.
The typical badger tormenter game he brings, ruffled up a few united players loosing the plot.
I reckon they should keep him even though he doesn't bang goals, just plainly a effective nuisance like Darwin haha
They need a better/stronger midfield general.
Sarr isn't in the game enough.
Tel needs the off and pre season should improve ahead ?
Solanke, I like him, big good when back to goal but lacks ball control - good meeting a ball in the box/cross/set pieces but needs to improve or they buy a better 9 and swap them in need and by form.

Kerkez not locked in yet and there is doubt.
