A league final

I have heard that there are bays in the city end not yet put on sale, as well as the western stand top tier.

It seems like it was the North End that sold like hot cakes.

Here is what usually happens.

* Game is declared "sold out"
* Large swathes of ground not put on sale.
* Game again is declared "sold out" with a self congratulatory tone.
* Two days before the game these swathes mysteriously become available.
* Due to people thinking the game is sold out they just don't show up.
* On game day the crowd is announced as 5,000 people less than capacity.

As a neutral, Melbourne Grand Final probably best result, genuinely excited for this match even though it will be a low scoring game.

does anyone consider Finals to be high scoring, typical both teams play not to lose instead of going for it.
Mind you checking the ladder both GA are woeful so never never know though the GD is in WU favour.
Agree least 2 locals in the mixer - neautral as well but have always been a JA fan since his playing days so I'll back the fugly kit and lack of club structures haha

The final is a tasty match-up. I'm backing Victory to get over the line.

That last semi was very smart coaching from Dilles. He pan-fried Corica like a fillet of fish.

And then Corica whinged about the change of tactics and how they couldn't adjust! Pardon me, Steve, but that's actually your job description. He is a hard man to like. Way, way too much complaining after losses.

Corica is a coach who relies VERY heavily on the first 11 both in personnel and in how they implement his tactics. He's never been flexible tactically, now he is a very good coach and most of the time it works however the issue with his last two seasons at Sydney was that he was a one trick pony. When he has the players he's amazing however if the squad at Auckland changes next season you'll start to see the cracks.

Question for the neutrals.
Do you have any preference on the winner of this one? Or phrase it, who would you rather see lose?
When we have a club like CCM or Jets in the GF it's easy for the neutrals to back one of those sides, but with these two I'm curious where the neutrals stand.

It is funny but I am neutral on the winner at this stage.

I want Victory to be strong in the league again. I would rather beat you when you are at the top of your game than when you are like us now. You play good, hard football generally speaking and I like to see that rewarded over a low block/fast break only, or unwillingness/inability to compete physically.

I like the style of football City has been bringing to the league over the last few years, and the way they let their football do the talking. Not afraid to play quality football and force their opposition to earn anything against them.

Neither team has too many players I can't stand and both have players worth watching.

I will be watching the game for awhile before I decide on whose play I like better on the day I suspect. Can't end a game neutral or you aren't really watching it.
