How do they determine the pots?

For u17 just make it out of the group stage and u qualify right?

It might depend on the club. A lot have historically been pretty poor at playing them so probably don't care.

I think it's a good thing for club and country. It gives the players experience and another shop front. The clubs will need the revenue from transfers more than previously so I think the exposure is good.
 
Joeys have drawn host China, Qatar and Kyrgyzstan for next year's U20 Asian Cup. Plenty of talent coming through. Wouldn't mind getting Irankunda in for February next year. March A window very important also.

Have to top the group. Its so much harder qualifying if you are 2nd in the group and have a knockout against a seeded opponent

Just seen the Olyroos squad for the upcoming camp a good list of players but the thing that intrigues me is how Tony Vidmar still in charge after the disastrous u23 afc cup campaign?

The master coach that said that Irankunda wasn't ready for the u23 team? That was the worst international tournament I've seen. I see that he found a spot for his son in this camp
