weakened team but bennie just head and shoulders above the other players

not a particularly flashy player, but first touch is tight, beats players with basic cuts with both sides of both feet rather than the more flashy moves

but very good decision making, wins duels he has no right to, keeps his head up and scans a lot more than a lot of players which means he makes some great decisions

Don't say this often, but I can see him in the epl in 2-4 years if he works hard enough and his body stays fit
 
on the more negative side
- no z14 play whatsoever. Not sure who is missing here, there are some younger players with the handling speed and first touch to be effective there
- back line are a bit frightening. Slow to react and some of the decision making is a bit off. Don't seem great at reflex and last ditch defending either. I'm guessing a lot of players missing looking at the squad

gk is catching the eye. That strange npl rule about no foreign gks might need to change to no foreign right backs :D

Sustained possession by china but we only have 7 men back

then a counter attack nearly creates a chance for us
 
Bennie tracking back and clearing a dangerous ball. Thr work rate tracking back hasnt been great from a lot of these players, so nice to see him do that

was interesting seeing aussie scout on twitter who rates okon as having a profile the nt lacks - defensively very strong while being technically sound enough to play as a single 6 which would allow us to play two center attacking mids against a team that parked the bus
 
game was opposite of previous u20 tournament i saw. Then our wings were ineffective but we were great through the middle, now the opposite haha. I suppose if you put everyone together you have a decent team, but its a sign we need more depth. Crowd was amazing
 
Why is there no reporting of the third game against Mongolia?
I've heard, third hand, the team slaughtered Mongolia and won the tournament but cannot find any confirmation.

I'd back both Balard and Triantis to play that same role - especially Balard.
