Australian transfers 25-26 Summer

It's a worry that Langerak has been advising him. 21 games over a very long period. I hope he is not destined for the pine.

I think it's more to do with moving to the country itself.

Bos is in for an interesting start as he should begin training and playing amateur sides in the earliest pre season games and then it'll start to show where he stands once they face bigger sides.

People hate on Duke, and I would love someone to supplant him. But whoever it is needs to be able to compensate for the loss of his OOP work elsewhere on the pitch. Despite being a striker, Duke hasn't made it this far in his career because of his goal scoring, it's his defensive work and work rate which are the reason he is a professional footballer at all.
I don't really think that's true. No-one could begrudge Duke after his efforts for the NT over a long period, and it's not his fault he keeps getting picked.

People are just frustrated that Popa (and Arnie before him) don't give chances to younger strikers. Duke doesn't have the legs for the press anymore but he still offers something off the bench and in the dressing room.

Pressing is probably something that is fairly easily tracked by the coaches, and Popa would be getting data from league matches as well. Given he did initially drop him from last squad maybe there is something to it. But the line about Duke having lost a step has been going on since last world cup (probably even before this), and he has continued to perform at much the same level since then. He was good against both Japan and SA.

I would argue it isn't Popa or Arnie's fault they keep picking him. It is because there isn't a standout replacement. Arnie tried a lot of guys, even Popa continued the Yengi experiment. Toure has (on paper, I don't watch him play, but neither do most people here) maybe been under utilised, but he has had major injuries issues even recently.

I do know I value experience much more highly than potential compared to most people here.
