As for your comment about Preston crowds, sure.... they are amazing for NPL level these past few years absolute massive credit to them from me. (wasnt the case 6-7 years ago though... im sure they arent the only club that can build a following if allowed to) ...
Why do they have to be though? WU werent before they were "let in" , neither where Macarthur's, or WSW or Sydney's or Brisbane's or Vicory's or anyones really... the franchises started from a net crowd average of exactly 0 (apart from Adelaide United and Perth for obvious reasons) ... why one rule for some one rule for others?
There are bigger state league clubs that have been doing the ground work in preparation. In fairness, the FA has been trying, getting the trophy around the grounds. The crowds are getting excited.
Let's see what happens with this AC and build from there. Make it a H&A season and get cracking.
