2025/26 A league season

BREAKING NEWS that i have just had out of Melbourne this morning can confirm APL have now officially delayed 2025/26 Isuzu UTE A League Men fixture release for coming season due to the ongoing Venues NSW inquiry with findings & recommendations at Allianz Stadium to be announced in due course.
An 800 million dollar stadium with no turf to play on.

It looks like a huge difference in squads this year I predict city wanderers and Auckland up there followed by Sydney/MacArthur with Newcastle, victory Brisbane challenging them.

However Adelaide/western/mariners are gonna struggle

I’m not impressed with who Wanderers have signed (Kuol, Ugarkovic, Barbarouses, Cancar) and they’ve lost a lot of quality so I think they might struggle.

Big call 11 weeks before the season.

Wellington haven't signed anyone let alone a visa player, relying on youth instead. Might just be another dud season coming up.

Wellington Phoenix have 2: Ifeanyi Eze, and Carlo Armiento

CCM also zero.

Auckland 1 signing, the legendary Scott Morris!

Melbourne City only 3: Takeshi Kanamori (Avispa Fukuoka), Liam Bonetig, Beckham Baker (2027-28)

Melbourne Victory only 4: Louis D’Arrigo, Keegan Jelacic, Franco Lino (loan), Kayne Razmovski

Newcastle Jets also only 4: Alex Badolato (Western Sydney Wanderers), Max Burgess, Joe Shaughnessy, James Delianov

Western Sydney Wanderers also only 4: Barbarouses (Wellington Phoenix), Steven Ugarkovic (Melbourne City) Phillip Cancar, Alou Kuol

All of the others apart from Western United are looking healthy.

It's not a big call it's a opinion that could change if other clubs get off their arse
Same time in 2022 CCM had hardly been active. They had signed a few youngsters and Danny had just been announced a day earlier. Then these signings (including Danny happened) and they won the Championship. Great game if you remember - held at your home stadium CommBank

Danny Vukovic 5 August 2022 Started in GF
Marco Túlio 19 September 2022 Started in GF
Brian Kaltak 27 September 2022 Started in GF
Christian Theoharous 17 January 2023 Came on in GF
Dylan Wenzel-Halls 31 January 2023 Bench for GF
James McGarry 8 February 2023 Started in GF

Some clubs move early - some later. It's a long off season

Maybe some of the clubs are looking at their finances and adding a little frugality to their business model this year.

Is this the season the tv money reduction that no mates has talked about kicks in?
