to take into account for when matches get played following midweek August 12/13 for the member federation clubs.

Bloody hell. Nix through 7-8 on penalties.

3 players put the ball over the top. Keepers saved nothing.

Expecting R16 for Wellington to be play against another A-League side, However there doing ok since there only playing with a youth side.

Commentators just explained why Glory v Roar Australia Cup knockout game players are not cup tied.

It is because the game related to last season - determining who would get to compete in the Australia Cup this season.

Actually makes a bit of sense (sorry Mono).
Doesn't matter anymore mate.... The actual federation doesn't give a shit about football in this country anymore... why should I?

Still think this may be a good opportunity for a blanket targeted campaign! Marconi, south, preston, olympic, utd58, wollongong etc everyone combined and the more the merrier......well timed fan reaction with specific message!

Will the KGV ground be used as south hobarts venue you think or is there another option?
No chance!

Football Tas owns the KGV ground.

SH have their own ground, Darcy St. The problem is the bumpy playing surface and a big slope across the pitch at Darcy St. There is more spectator space in the stands though.

You are right we did NOT full press, at least for the first 1/2 hour orso.. very lethargic from us. Probably our poorest game in the past 2 months. SMFC are slap bang on the tail end of a brutal season, currently just out of the relegation zone... SH did very well but the second half was very comfortable for us and rotated players with one eye on the coming weeks busy schedules...
In the other thread, I've given a longer review after I saw the game on TV from a better viewing position, Mono. Very favourable to SM.

I've said that in Tas we need to play teams, the calibre of SM, and better, every week in AL2. We need a higher bar set for better local players to aspire too.

SM's Squeezing as a team unit, forced mistakes from SH, or, SM forced SH players to have to have their body shape facing their own goal, nullifying SH players' ability to face forwards and play.
