You're misinformed if you think South fans have any ill will towards clubs that are actually trying to improve football in this country (so excluding cannons lol). I hate to say it but the nplvic is a brotherhood at this point and I would wan't most of the teams in that league to be as successful as they desire, not being held back by the franchises. I can't care about whatever background the clubs are considering they are all Australian teams playing with majority Australian players...

Are you suggesting that in today's Australia Greeks, Italians, Croatians, Serbs, Turks, Macedonians etc etc don't get along??? Gotta let go mate, seriously. I might have polar opposite views to @est47 on the whole historical and cultural context surrounding the "Macedonian dispute" but shit Ive never met the bloke but Im sure he's good for a beer and a chat over a game of football... behind closed doors or in front of them....

You could always buy a ticket and find out for yourself, dont be scared we wogs dont bite, and you sure as hell wont ever walk away hungry! Be prepared though, no pies and hotdogs, here, we use actual ingredeients! And our beers arent watered down to make rent!!

Just dont wear your horda black, we have traditional colours that actually mean something!

Cure generalisation. I'm sure that has helped you form your simplistic view of the world in your advanced aged but life is a bit more complex. I've been to Lakers games and it is no surprise no one is showing up. As much excitement as an old folks home but I'm looking forward to your retort about how exciting retirement homes can be.

As for lakers games it doesnt suprise me in the least that no one shows up! They dont exist, well not here australia anyway unless you can show me otherwise!

I was best man at my Greek mates wedding. I dance the zebekiko? (poorly)

I've broken bread with his family. Even call his grandparents papou and yiaya.

My Italian mates nonna, nonno etc you get the drift

I grew up with people of all nationalities.

Life's too short,

We might have political disputes etc but if you're going to let that get in the way of being a good person. Then honestly you're a lost cause.

And yes I love beer and football! I'll happily discuss it with whoever is willing to listen

There have been plenty of ride or die moments at Lakeside over the past 30 years... I suggest you don't visit the place if you find it so offensive ... you won't really be missed too much... Nobody is forcing you, this isnt Aleague where "you've gotta have a team"

Fact is many of the original apostates are now considering coming back into the fold... all are welcome (at least from my perspective) people make poor choice in life sometimes, doesn't mean we shouldn't take the high road and forgive them for their past betrayal.

I wonder if Preston v South will give that a run for its money in a fortnight.

Actually will be interesting to see what we get next Monday as a standalone game again.

Our old school dormant fan base are clearly watching on the box but we need to get more through the gates.
