A league final

They spoke to him last night. He said they leave to camp today so I would expect him to be in it..
Does this mean that Tilio, Behich, Trewin & Leckie have been called to Socceroos camp? I wonder whether they will publish the full list of attendees.

Here what they saying

Ok so 11 evictions, 1 arrest, 7 penalty notices (listed in the video) and 1 injury.

Let’s compare that to the AFL Grand Final:

2017 saw 20 evictions and 10 arrests

Here’s a report on the 2015 AFL Grand Final that states Police arrested one man, evicted 14 people from the MCG and issued nine penalty notices for a range of offences - which was labelled as “well behaved”

2014 - Police arrested one man, evicted 14 people from the MCG and issued nine penalty notices for a range of offences

“Police praise orderly AFL crowd's 'understanding' amid increased security”

To be fair the afl grand final has an extra 70,000 people there.
Good point

But also very much a change in tact from the media/police in public statements compared to 2015 as an example. Guess 9 and Foxtel were still together back then?

Disgusting.
When are we going to learn? No wonder no one feels safe bringing their families.

I really thought we got rid of the flares once we had exterminated the pesky ethnic clubs.
This is Australia. Flares and hooliganism don't belong here.
If you know your history.

This was once a penal colony.

I just rewatched the second half. And I maybe in the minority but I enjoyed it. That GF was all about defence and stamina. I dare say that the MC players were either fitter or had more stamina (in Leckie's case stamina given that he was playing with a hamstring injury). But ultimately neither team's attacking prowess was able to get going albeit MC had two other great opportunities that they fluffed, whether this was because of perceived pressure or not, I don't know. Both mid-fields had control in stretches.
Was it physical, yes it was. Was it Saudi physical - no although Arzani and Atkinson could switch allegiances. Aside from Leckie's unfortunate boot to the nose, there was little malice.
So for me at least that was a memorable GF.

Just to note that the following players have played for both MV & MC:
Behich (MV -> MH)
Fornaroli (MC ->PG->MV)
Valodon (MC--> MV)
K Bos (MC --> MV)
Arzani (MC ---->MV)

And not playing was Nabbout (MV --> MC)

As a neutral i enjoyed the game. Well done to City and it was good to see a great crowd turn up for once in Australia more so Victoria.

Good win and title to City! Congrats to City for winning! They had injury issues and a lot of young City players stood up in the middle of the season to play senior A L football when there were a lot of injuries to senior players. Good win for a big squad.

I'm sure Melb City Guy attended the game.

Anyone attending live, what was the ratio of City v Vic supporters?
