Aussies abroad 🌍🦘

irankunda now the highest rated player in the swiss league born 2005 or later and second highest born 2004 or later....hopefully he continues to climb
Great to see Irankunda doing well, hope he now sees lots a great players around & now up to him to do the work.

Geez that looks like a bang average stadium to watch football in.

Feel like the real difference between he and Kuol is that I don't think Newcastle gave Kuol enough time to settle before shipping him out on loan.

Feel like the half a year Nestory spent with Bayern would've been crucial in assessing him and finding him the right loan move.

maybe so Ali logically thinking, maybe Kuol just can't settle abroad as well despite him being loaned out so soon.
Hard to pick and only the kid can convey his feelings about the situation if he can understand it as well.

I just think Irankunda is better. He's more explosive and can deal with physicality better which helps overcome some of the other shortcomings.

Finally found the highlights for the Grasshopper game.

Good use of pace for the first goal/assist however coughs up the ball for the last goal.
Never quite had possession for that last goal and a tackle from behind would've been risky. Otherwise, he's looking good and will only get better.

In other news - just back from a month in Europe. What have I missed?

welcome back!
The NST was announced as full home and away for 2026 with p&r happening the year after
Garang Kuol made his newcastle debut and got rave reviews from fans when he scored a brace for the seniors
A league reddit loves our forum and have decided to shut down in intimidation after seeing the nice design of this site

anything else?

It's chalk and cheese the difference, Bayern just much better at developing youth. Actually care about the player making himself a career.

I really feel for Garang he's in such a bad spot, Newcastle need money in so it seems they only want to sell him permanently, I hope he doesn't get stuck there in the u21s.

No Bennie in the QPR squad. Looks like he may have been replaced by Yang who is a Korean RM on loan from Tottenham.

I hate this so much, pulled out of the QPR squad to play with kids at a u20 tourney when he was on the brink of getitng a start now he's behind yang probably.
