thanks grazorShould be on an upward march the next decade as there are more young players getting game time here and abroad. However, players dont peak till their late 20s so it will take a while for the national team to peak
Welcome! So far Poppa is using a 5-2-3 formation with wing backs, but its hard to say after two games if that's his preference. At Victory he liked a 4-3-3.Hi guys, I'm new to the footballing world, and don't have too much understanding around formations and popovics preferred formations, however I have come up with a 11, that I believe would be competitive against Saudi Arabia. Good mix of youth, but also experience. I believe with Toure and Yengi and Iredale doing quite well as of late duke's time has come and same with Behich both very loyal competitive players, goodwin obviously falls into this team but I wanted to do a team post goodwin, however he still remains one of our more classy players.
Gauci
Geria Souttar Burgess Bos
O'Neill Lugongo Robertson Irvine
Irunkunda
Toure
Bench Unit
Ryan/Izzo
Miller Farrell Rowles Metcalf
Yazbek Balard Hrustic Nisbet
McGree
Yengi/Iredale
I really like both of those teams!Welcome! So far Poppa is using a 5-2-3 formation with wing backs, but its hard to say after two games if that's his preference. At Victory he liked a 4-3-3.
That team has some good players but lacks width in midfield/attack with four CMs so feels unbalanced.
With Poppas he 5-2-3 I'd like to see:
Gauci
Strain Geria-Souttar-Burgess-Bos
Balard-Robertson
Irankunda-Toure-McGree
I prefer a 4-3-3
Gauci
Geria-Souttar-Burgess-Bos
Balard-Robertson
McGree
Irankunda-Toure-Silvera (Goodwin when he's back)
so we are not playing a member of the current Bundesliga team of the week?Welcome! So far Poppa is using a 5-2-3 formation with wing backs, but its hard to say after two games if that's his preference. At Victory he liked a 4-3-3.

Metcalf had a similar one in buli 2 last year, irankundas on last week was decent but this one i agree is the bestJeez that assist from McGree has to be one of the best from an Aussie in sometime..
I'm sure Irvine will be started. I would like to see him used off the bench. I reckon he'd be very dangerous as a sub. I agree Irvine is under-rated and i'm guilty of it.so we are not playing a member of the current Bundesliga team of the week?
hmmm... I know he aint pretty, but Irvine is our most under-rated player by a long long way
Indeed both during the gg our best players are better without the ball than they are with it. Some exceptions like viduka, rogic and mooy of course.so we are not playing a member of the current Bundesliga team of the week?

Banger of a goal too. Speedy and the power, it was way too fast for the keeper.irankunda scores in an u19 european comp
