Mcgrees point difference is insane

Middlesbrough have 17 points from the 7 games he has stsrted and just 7 points from the 7 games without him

Similar points differential last season where he was worth around 1 point per game. If he played 46 games boro gets promoted

Welcome! So far Poppa is using a 5-2-3 formation with wing backs, but its hard to say after two games if that's his preference. At Victory he liked a 4-3-3.

That team has some good players but lacks width in midfield/attack with four CMs so feels unbalanced.

With Poppas he 5-2-3 I'd like to see:

Gauci
Strain Geria-Souttar-Burgess-Bos
Balard-Robertson
Irankunda-Toure-McGree

I prefer a 4-3-3

I really like both of those teams!
 
Donnell is another doing very well in the youth team that an EFL loan is important. Got to get playing against men at some point.

hmmm... I know he aint pretty, but Irvine is our most under-rated player by a long long way

I'm sure Irvine will be started. I would like to see him used off the bench. I reckon he'd be very dangerous as a sub. I agree Irvine is under-rated and i'm guilty of it.

Indeed both during the gg our best players are better without the ball than they are with it. Some exceptions like viduka, rogic and mooy of course.

Our best players are irvine, metcalf, burgess, souttar, circati, oniell and luongo. So we look surprising against strong opponents but then ugly against weak ones
 
That's so gutting for him. Stensness out for season with knee injury. With Souttar falling awkwardly but playing another 50 min we could've been in dire straits at centre back.
 
Irvine is decent on his day. The balance and coverage against Japan was good. I just feel Balard can do that and play the ball while Robertson will dictate play. Irvine was better with Mooy next to him.
