No Burgess or Luongo for Ipswich. Phillips straight into 11 to appease City.

Burgess has a knock I think?
 
Luongo has been helping this club from League 1 to EPL and now got no future with Ipswich. Thats sad.

It's ungrateful for sure. The prem games he played were good. To throw him out for Phillips who's heart isn't in it is a kick in the guts.
 
It's not like Phillips or Cajuste have done that great. Both loan players and the latter staying permanently is contingent on Ipswich staying up. The former is overrated, overpriced garbage. Still, Luongo got his EPL debut and might end up going on loan in winter should he want to play for Australia again.
 
Still no news on Souttar. You wouldn't think they'd have to wait to arrange a scan. Idiots online saying ACL when it was ankle confirmed by manager. Tricky sort of injury on its own. I'll bargain and take 6 weeks here.

Something of an update from the club side

Following today's decision of the Licensing Committee of the Polish Football Association (PZPN), Lechia Gdańsk announces that it is working on settling its financial obligations in accordance with the requirements and the approved repayment schedule. As it was the case before, our club will find solutions for the settlement of the club's outstanding debts which will restore its right to compete in the Ekstraklasa and allow it to continue playing in the second part of the season.

Yeah thought he did alright when they played Liverpool. Crazy to think he is getting a 1/4th of what he was on when in the CHP,. I think the club is almost inclined to play Phillips due to what they are paying him. Hopefully Mass can turn this into a good Saudi move and get a good pay day he has done his hard yards in England made it to the EPL after all that time.

Souttar is listed as out until late January with the ankle injury so won't feature for Sheffield Utd.
