O'Neil needs another DM next to him playing like Bernado Silva ( Baccus or Nisbet type) who can move the ball around quickly. He and Irvine together just didnt work well.

First Ecuador game was next to Baccus and Irvine was on the 10. Mabil on one wing and it just worked so well how they all suffocated Ecuador. These players had excellent defensive positioning that created quick transitions. I feel Irvine on the 10 unsettles teams in build up but also in quick transition, he confuses defences as he's something of an enigmatic attacker.
 
This won't be a popular opinion but every time I watch Miller and strain I tend to think they are roughly the same quality. I doubt strain will make much difference

How does Strain look in defensive panics in the box? Just feel so nervous every time it's near Miller.

I think we need to start Bos at right back and put Farrell at left until we find other solutions. Nothing wrong with Bos on the right either.

And yet he was MOTM last game & made SPL team of the week. I started watching the game in the second half & he played well
 
Apparently John Iredale has moved to the Korean second division from Denmark. Interesting move if that proves to be true. He hasn't posted anything on his socials yet...
 
Not sure what Iredale would be hoping for in K2. The club must have approached him. Denmark wedding in June. His fiance moved from Germany to Denmark to play herself. Only 6 months at Aalborg with a mix of starts and bench appearances. Some goals. Does he think always playing and scoring a lot there will enhance his NT chances? Unlikely.

I can also imagine Aalborg may want to cut ties if his wage is on the high side.
 
Iredale's minutes have equated to 8 full matches for 3 goals. 3 in a row in the final 5 games of the season half. If that's not a sign of a turnaround then I don't know. A bizarre one but we've seen such rumours before.
