i can't agree with that. Irvine, Triantis, Devlin, Strain all have made good progress in Scotland.
Strain possible, Irvine left before improving much imo, devlin doesn't seem to have improved much?

Yeah bad idea, balard was weaker than him and is now killing it in a better league. Should've stayed another year and made a mark in asia
He's 25 and wanted to go before it was too late.

Balard was part of an outstanding midfield duo with Nizz - played a different role but was brilliant last year. No surprise he's doing well in the Netherlands.

One year before mooy and Chipperfield left to be fair. Was hoping he would go to another level and stay another year rather than go to a league which doesn't suit him. Anyway hope it works out for him

I think he's too good for it not to work out - barring Arzani level bad luck. He's still acclimatising but clearly very popular with his team mates so they seem to appreciate his input.

It depends on your view whether it is better to stay in the AL or go to the SPL. You have strong views on that but I think it is much more debatable and not clear cut. I don't think you can blame Nisbet for making the decision to move given his age.

Kalik is starting to make a very strong case for himself.
His team is 2nd on the table and he's playing regularly in à big croatian club. No idea how good he will be for national team but def deserve a spot over Hrustic.

Im confident if we get the right players the next window we will get maximum points from Indonesia & China if not we will maybe get 2 points out of 6.

Too bad we dont have any friendly games to try out these new players.

and we should get rid of
Hrustic
Miller
Duke
Maybe Behich

Kalik favours that left sided CAM area (though right footed) so is unlucky in that he plays in the same space as McGree. A left sided CAM. But he should get picked.

Volpato and Chipperfield are two who could replace Hrustic if they had any interest in representing the NT.

I think in Strain we have Miller covered but I think Popovic actually likes Miller.

Behich, I just can't believe we're still playing him. It's nuts.

Duke too, totally agree. With Toure, Yengi, Iredale and Stama we really should back them in. There's a lot of potential there.

No game time for G. Kuol for Newcastle Academy. No games will kill his development. He needs a loan soon.
if he is injured, fine, but if not he needs to get out of there perhaps permanently. Unless you are way above the league level you often don't get game time, with so long out of the game and such little prior match experience, I suspect his level in the short term is promotion chancing league 2

He was injured which was what stopped a loan in the last window. But he's since been training and played one game for the academy so assume he's fit. He'd be better off in the AL honestly.

Isn't he getting 20k pounds a week?

Doubt he'll be leaving any time soon.

I was going to say, Holman has some prestigious achievements to his name. A world cup goal is extremely valuable. Not everyone is going to score but someone like Bresciano didn't get one. If only against Chile...
I was at the Serbia game in Nelspruit when Holman scored that stunner out of nowhere which at the time seemed like it was from 40 yards!! Still to this day the best live sporting experience I've witnessed. Two full beers in the air and pandemonium across the one half of the stadium dripping in green and gold.

For those few moments we really felt we were a chance of getting out of the group.

Agree that when on song a fine footballer and then other times was as if he left his brain at home.
