Agreed.Hats off to whoever got him that gig at Brescia. Probably one of the most ridiculous transfers out of Australia in recent memory.
Early but could be Australia’s left footed centreback for a long time. You can tell he was a proper midfielder at youth level. Picks the pass out well.Ollie Jones is apparently off to Europe somewhere. Going waaaaay too early imo
He and Alex Bonetig could be great LCB options for Australia moving forward if they can both be sensible with their club moves.Early but could be Australia’s left footed centreback for a long time. You can tell he was a proper midfielder at youth level. Picks the pass out well.

It's not a free transfer, it was undisclosedAriath Piol to Salt Lake in MLS. According to FotMob, a free transfer.
nice, that's the entire salary cap with one transfer. It should be a goal for every club to do that in the a league even if the tv revenue returns![]()

Good enough for a euro move surelyAccording to Chinese media, the Chinese club that is in contact with Ryan Teague is Shanghai Port, coached by Kevin Muscat.
The biggest issue we've had in the past is that very few players, especially young players were getting gigs in decent European leagues. Not every player is going to make it but it's not as big of a deal for the NT if one player out of 50/100 doesn't make it vs when we were pinning our hopes on two or three guys.No doubt heading into an unprecedented period of interest from abroad in young Aussie talent that the likes of Waddingham making on impact on debut will surely help.
A-league clubs should be looking their lips and the law of averages says the more that head over the more likely some will actually make the grade.
Completely agree. The biggest issue we've had in the past is that very few players, especially young players were getting gigs in decent European leagues. yeah Paul the blogge for smfc wrote once about how it is difficult to avoid a tradeoff between maxing the quality of the roos and maxing the quality of the league. I suspect perceptions and interest in the league trickle down from the roos, so it is probably best to aim to have them excellCompletely agree.
Potentially the A-league actually does become the feeder for talent into the NT we always wanted, it just does so without much national interest and commercial success.
